Bayles Lake is located in west Loda in Iroquois County, Illinois, and covers 237 acres with 9.94 miles of shoreline. This freshwater reservoir is conveniently located less than ten minutes away from Interstate 57.

Residents will have easy access to Chicago, which is around 100 miles north. Take a trip across the Indiana border, which is less than an hour from Bayles Lake.

Fishing

Despite its smaller size, Bayles Lake is an excellent spot for fishing. The lake is annually stocked with several different varieties of fish so that populations are high, which is why Bayles Lake has become more popular among local fishers.
