Round Lake

Location and Access

Round Lake is a 410-acre lake that runs along the St. Joe River Channel and is located on the northeast side of Heyburn State Park.

There are two locations available for visitors to launch their boats. Round Lake Northeast Sportsman Access offers a boat launch and a public restroom. Round Lake East Primitive Boat Launch is the second location where you can access Round Lake from.

This long and shallow lake is the ideal location for fishing in Benewah County. Anglers can expect to catch anywhere from bluegill, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed.

Two of the closest cities near Round Lake are Parkline, Idaho located approximately 2.5 miles southeast, and Conkling Park, Idaho located approximately 3.4 miles northwest.

Two of the closest medical centers in case of emergencies are St. Maries Family Medicine and Benewah Community Hospital.

The closest international airport is the Spokane International Airport located in Washington but is only an hour and a half drive from Round Lake.

Heyburn State Park is approximately a 27-minute drive from Round Lake. The state park provides hiking trails, water sports, and campsites for you and the family to enjoy.
