    Summer stratification does not occur in Seed Lake because it is a river-run lake with fast water movement, meaning the temperature remains consistent from shallow to deep.

    Make a day trip out of your visit to Atlanta, with the city slightly under two hours away using I-85 North and U.S. 23 North.
