      Lake Pierce is a 3,855-acre public lake located in Lake Wales, Florida, and is named after Franklin Pierce, the 14th President of the United States. Orlando is 52 miles northeast, and Tampa is 66 miles west.

      Lake Pierce is a short drive from all the necessities. AdventHealth Lake Wales is only seven miles away, and the Lakeland Linder International Airport is 33 miles away. Local grocery stores include Publix, Winn-Dixie, and ALDI.

      Fun On the Water

      The lake has a boat ramp, public parking, picnic spots, public swimming area, pier, and shore fishing access. This lake has activities the whole family can enjoy!

      There are great fishing prospects here. Kissimmee grass covers the shores, and eelgrass and peppergrass are scattered offshore. These grassy areas serve as ideal places to cast a line off the water.
