The entirety of the chain is popular for paddleboarding, hiking, kayaking, waterskiing and boating.
Lake Maitland offers a good supply of largemouth bass, tilapia and crappie for local anglers and the city of Maitland has a public boat launch for residents and visitors.
Off the Beaten Path
The lake offers a more relaxed, serene environment just up the road from the hustle and bustle of tourist-heavy Orlando. It's the perfect place to take a deep breath, watch some wildlife and just enjoy the view.
