Polk County, Florida

Lake Eloise is in Winter Haven, Florida, and is under 60 miles from Tampa and Orlando. It is in the southern part of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes.

Named after former President James K. Polk, this county has a population of around 725,000 people.

There are a few smaller airfields nearby, but the closest major airport is Tampa International and is 70 minutes away. Urgent care can be provided at Winter Haven Hospital, 15 minutes away.
