    Mashapaug Pond (also known as Mashapaug Lake) is located in the town of Union, just below the Massachusetts and Connecticut state line. The lake is just off Interstate 84 and is less than one hour from Springfield, Massachusetts.

    Mashapaug Pond is about two miles in length and covers nearly 300 acres of surface area. Its calm waters, perfect for canoeing or kayaking, reach depths of up to 39 feet.
