Directly beside the lake is the 401-acre Roosevelt Forest, where residents and visitors can enjoy hiking trails, thriving wildlife and the scenic, lush landscape.

On the other side of the Roosevelt Forest is the Oronque Country Club, which features golf and fine dining. The club also host several events for its members throughout the year, like trivia nights, golf tournaments and concerts.

Nearby in Bridgeport, residents can spend the day relaxing at Long Beach park where they'll find campgrounds and sandy, freshwater beaches.
