Belisle Reservoir

Fishing and Boating

Belisle Reservoir offers many opportunities for simple fishing with its 10 acres of space, but it cannot accommodate boating and water sports. Anglers can expect to find largemouth bass, common carp, and rainbow trout in this small but stunning lake.

National Parks and Attractions

Denver and the surrounding suburbs offer plenty for a lake-loving city family to occupy their time. Visit various museums highlighting the history of the western United States, like the Littleton Museum (7 minutes), the Chamberlin Observatory (15 minutes), and Four Mile Historic Park (24 minutes).

You cannot ignore the hundreds of miles of hiking trails in the surrounding mountains. Green Mountain and Hayden Trail Loop (21 minutes) offer stunning views of the Rocky Mountains on one side and the Denver skyline on the other. Upper Mule Deer Trail (1 hour) is a bit of a drive, but you will not be disappointed by the brilliance of the leaves during autumn.
