Lake Coronado is a lake of the Hot Springs Village, recognized as one of the Best Lake Communities by ideal-LIVING.

Hot Springs is just 15 miles south of the community, home to the National Park Medical Center, Memorial Field Airport, Walmart, hotels, restaurants, and more. An hour’s drive will get you to major-city establishments in Little Rock like the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, Baptist Health, or the Simmons Bank Arena.

About Coronado and the Community

Hot Springs Village is one of the country’s largest gated communities, covering 26,000 acres home to 12 different lakes.

Lake Coronado is the second largest lake of the dozen, having a surface area of 380 acres. Its size permits all watersports, including swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing, and more.

Amenities and Activities

Spend a day sunning, playing in the sand, or swimming at the beach on Lake Balboa, accompanied by a large pavilion and picnic areas. The community is home to the Granada Golf Course, ranked first of the top 10 in the state, and eight other 18-hole courses.

There are many mountain biking trails in the community that wind through beautiful woods. Still, Womble Trail is the best, being named an epic trail by the International Mountain Biking Association.

Some of the other amenities include an indoor pool, dog park, 13 tennis courts, 14 pickleball courts, two full-service marinas, and a fitness and massage center.

Community Events

Stars and Stripes is a sensational event that begins on July 1st, including concerts, fish fries, kayak races, games, and a grand finale firework show over Lake Balboa on the 4th.

The Green Market brings fresh vegetables, home-cooked goods, and unique items to the Hot Springs Village every Thursday, April through November. Chef’s Table is an event that happens once a season to celebrate a local chef in a whim of music, lighting, and elegant decor.

Musical events include Rhythm Jam or Rock Porch. Visit the Woodlands Auditorium for a state-of-the-art show.
