Enjoy the Warm Climate of South Alabama

Gantt Lake is located in south central Alabama, only 30 miles from the Florida state line. Formed in the 1920s by the damming of Conecuh River, it is a relatively small lake covering 2700 acres with 21 miles of shoreline.

Visit the Cypress Trees in South Alabama

Much of the shoreline is surrounded by beautiful cypress trees, many of which are adorned with Spanish moss. The lake's watershed is rather infertile and therefore the primary activities on the lake are swimming, boating, and skiing. Fishing is still possible though; species of largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and redear sunfish still reside in the lake.

Recreation Abounds

With a heavily developed shoreline, two boat ramps, and a local RV and campsite this small lake is big on outdoor fun!
