Amanda Anderson-St. John brings a lifelong passion for lake living and a deep commitment to family and community to her work as a real estate agent with Lake Homes Realty. Raised in Ragland, Alabama, Amanda has spent her entire life in the Logan Martin, Neely Henry, and Lay Lake areas, giving her firsthand knowledge of the waterways, neighborhoods, and lifestyle that make these communities so special.
Some of Amanda’s fondest memories were formed on Neely Henry Lake, where her mother taught her and her brother how to water ski. Watching her mom confidently skiing well into her forties left a lasting impression and sparked Amanda’s own love for the water. Those early experiences shaped her desire to one day share the same traditions with her own children and instilled in her a deep appreciation for everything lake life represents.
Before entering real estate, Amanda dedicated 26 years to education as a school teacher, while also coaching basketball and cheerleading for a decade. Her background in education strengthened her communication skills, patience, and ability to guide others through important decisions, all of which now serve her clients well.
Amanda has lived on Logan Martin Lake for the past four years and previously spent five years living on Neely Henry Lake. She and her family are on the water as often as possible, enjoying swimming, skiing, and cruising the shoreline while admiring homes along the way. She loves meeting new people, helping families find their perfect home, and experiencing the joy that comes with handing over the keys on closing day.
Amanda is a proud wife, mother of three, and grandmother. She has been recognized with the Lake Homes Aqua Award in 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025 and values the supportive, agent-focused culture at Lake Homes Realty. Amanda is passionate about helping others find not just a house, but a place where lifelong memories can be made.
