Located at the north end of the Northern Highland/American Legion State Forest is two connecting lakes, Big and Little Hurst. Vera Lane is a deadend road that leads to Big Hurst Lake of which you will find this gentle slope lake lot. This largely undeveloped lake has a real pristine feel and the lot has 200 feet of wild frontage with most sand bottom. A very gentle slope to the water's edge should be a fit for a nice walkout or partially exposed basement. Bring your ideas and your builder to choose what is best. The land has a nice mix of conifers and soft woods. Maples in the fall show rich color as can be seen on the glimmer of the lake. Big Hurst is a clear 44 feet deep lake and has no public access. It is known for its bass, panfish and walleye. This is also a great location to jump to Crab Lake, Papoose, Armour, Little Horsehead & Horsehead Lakes to name a few with the Manitowish Chain Boat Launch just a couple of miles around the corner along with shopping in town.
