In the words of owner: "I was so lucky to find my unique, just-the-right-size-for-me condo in such a convenient and beautiful part of Burlington, on a street that frankly feels like living in a vacation spot. I could walk to town quickly and easily if I chose and see the beauty of Lake Champlain and the mountains along the way. There’s a coffee/ice-cream/pastry cafe at the end of my street and a locally owned diner a few blocks away. My street is a mix of families, famous Vermont entrepreneurs, artists, educators, and more. People are friendly and helpful - “Oh thank you for that yummy slice of hummingbird cake!" - without being too nosey. My three-level apartment feels as if it belongs in Milan or Paris. It has character. Vintage sinks and a tub blend beautifully with the spacious open layout. There’s room to dance, to bake, to do yoga, to entertain a tableful of friends for dinner. A handful of eastern European tiles near my counter reflect back the modern colors of the checkered kitchen flooring. Open shelving, a glass-fronted antique cabinet, and hanging pots add to the ‘have a glass of wine with me while I cook you dinner’ vibe. The European-sized refrigerator is just right and it’s deliciously red. I always fell blissfully asleep in my stairway-accessed, bedroom loft adrift over my perfect little world. I hope whoever lives here next enjoys it as much as I have."
