Built in the early 1900's as a hunting lodge for Amon Carter Sr. The lodge hosted many dignitaries, and a few presidents as they traveled through Fort Worth. The house is one of the last standing buildings left of the shady oaks ranch owned by the Carter family and consists of the original lodge and an outhouse. The lodge has been added onto over the years and now is a 3 bedroom 2.1 bath with a beautiful view of Lake Worth . The property sits on nearly an acre, has a boat dock, and a well.
