Enjoy the lifestyle of lake living in Lake Meade. A private 24/7 gated community in beautiful East Berlin, Pa. 30 minutes to Gettysburg, York & Hanover. Convenient to 15, the Turnpike, Hershey, Mechanicsburg, Carlisle & Harrisburg.This ranch style home is across the street from the park & boat docks. The sunsets are amazing as well as a great view of the fireworks. The open floor plan features a cathedral ceiling, stone fireplace,a big bright window with a window seat in the living room and a dining area with sliding doors that open up to the deck. The kitchen includes all the appliances, a large island with a breakfast bar. An abundance of cabinets with pull outs and plenty of counter space. The bedrooms are spacious with walk in closets. The owners suite offers a en-suite with a jacuzzi tub and a double sink vanity. The Lower level is the perfect size for a pool table with a dry bar and still plenty of room of a family room and a huge storage area as well as a work shop. Lake Meade is a private gated community. The gate is staffed 24 hours each day. Visitors and guest must register. Our Lake is manmade consisting of approximately 300 acres and 5.84 miles of shoreline. 206 boat docks are offered on a first come first serve basis starting March 1 through November 15. The Lake is lowered beginning November 15 through March 1 for lake front owners to make improvements to their docks. Power boats, kayaks, canoes, sailboats and pontoon boats share the Lake fun. (Some restrictions apply) Water sports include tubing, water skiing, wakeboarding and swimming just to name a few. The fishing here is amazing form small & largemouth bass, crappie, perch, sun fish, blue gills & even walleye. The lake fish are monitored and stocked as well. The recreations activities include the swimming pool with lifeguards and a giant slide with two curves, zero entry with a mushroom fountain & the depth is to 3 feet. Diving is 12 feet deep with two diving boards. The main rectangular pool is 50 x 82 with depths of 4 to 5 feet deep. There is also a bath house and a snack shack. Lake Meade has 10 water front accesses with boat docks, playground equipment and picnic areas. There are 2 basketball courts, a tennis court and pickle ball. The sports complex offers ball field, sand volley ball courts, soccer fields, playground equipment for small children and a picnic pavilion. The marina complex features Macs pizzeria an informal eatery with outdoor deck and summer fun. There are two boat launches, limited boat services available. Our 4th of July celebration is culminated spectacular over the water firework display. Lake Meade Municipality provides us our public water and sewer. Northeast Adams Fire and EMS serves East Berlin and our community with one fire station right here.
