Noxon Reservoir public boat launch is very nearby and the Frog Pond (Avista) which is open to the public. Trout Creek is famous for its abundance of huckleberries & has been proclaimed by the legislature as the huckleberry capital of Montana and hosts the annual Huckleberry Festival each August. In the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness, camping, hiking, hunting and fishing are available, while Cabinet Gorge and Noxon reservoirs offer bass and perch for the fisherman. Noxon Reservoir hosts the annual tri-state bass tournament.
