Is this heaven? No, it's Seagull. (#Field of Dreams) You will think you're in heaven when you arrive on this property and step back to a simpler time. "Charming" does not do this precious cabin, built in 1933, justice. History seeps from every log, every floor board and every corner in this quaint treasure. It is water access only but it is only a quick canoe, kayak, or fishing boat ride (don't even think about bringing a runabout!!) from the public landing on Seagull. But don't let the old world charm fool you. Stay connected through on-site power and broadband as well as cell service (most of the time). There is a grey water septic system that may be one of the seven engineering wonders of the world. There is a shower and an incinerating toilet but you may forego that for what might be the cutest outhouse in the county. PLUS, if you think the cabin is great, wait until you check out the darling guest house with a shop tucked in back. Don't let family and friends see it, they'll never leave!!! And what would any lake place worth its salt be without the cool little sauna right outside your cabin door. As special and unforgettable as the cabin and buildings are, the true treat comes in the magnificence of Seagull Lake. This property features 274 feet (that's straight line measurement...meandering footage is well more than that) of shoreline on one of the premier lakes in Cook County if not in all of the Northland. Whether your pleasure is fishing, canoeing, kayaking or just sitting in an Adirondack chair and listening to the loons, Seagull and this oh so unique property are for you. By the way, did I mention that the BWCAW is just a hop, skip and jump away?? Don't wait; call for your private showing. You won't regret it.
