This home is on an island with access by boat. A nice private community. This is will be a wonderful summer home! An incredible setting on Lake Orion to enjoy true Beauty of the lake. The house does need work. A renovation was started, but never finished. This home was built in 1925, has 98 feet of beautiful lake frontage and the house is somewhere between 700 and 900 feet. There is a boat house. Yes, a boat house. Not many of those. This boat house can be restored but you cannot build a new boat house anymore on Lake Orion. The pontoon boat in the Boat house could be stripped down to use for transport of building materials then used as a swimming platform party deck later. Martha Stewart does not live here but Bob Villa would have a good time! There are new cabinets still in boxes for the kitchen and the bath. The stuff in the house will not be removed. The home and contents are as is and included. The large utility room could be altered to make another bedroom and still have room for laundry. The second bedroom is small and might be opened up into the other bedroom. Looks like some updates and an electrical panel were done. Victoria Island has several newer homes mixed in with the older houses. You park on City property on Highland Street. Then take your boat to the island. For showings there is a small rowboat, please bring your own life jacket. One of the photos has the path marked out to get from dock to doc to the path to the home. In addition to the Boat House there is a dock that is in good condition. The shoreline is very clean and pretty. The view is tremendous. The setting is tranquil. And the home is what you make of it.
