I first visited this property in late summer with only a limited time to explore parts of the 4730 feet of Lake Michigan frontage. I knew I would be back. It is a magical place that has an inviting spirit. The deer, grouse and a variety of small game was evident at every turn. The first thing that comes in focus is the mature Cedar Forest. Not a thicket but mature old growth Northern White Cedar. As you wind through the forest and 181 acres the lights from the Lake Michigan front begin to peek through the forest and eventually you cant stop the transition from green to the unbelievable blue of the Lake. A cove, east setting has had calm water each time I have returned and it appears many opportunities for direct boating access are possible.
