Dog Lake is located in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. Green Bay is 127 miles southeast, Milwaukee is 233 miles southeast, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, is 263 miles southwest.

A few smaller airfields are nearby, but the closest major airport is Sawyer International Airport, typically, just under three hours away. Urgent care can be provided at Aspirus Eagle River Hospital, 27 minutes away.
