One of North Carolina's biggest lakes, Lake Norman, has 520 miles of shoreline. It is adjacent to historic major streets dotted with boutique stores, galleries, restaurants, and more and is situated approximately 45 minutes north of Charlotte. Lake Norman is amazing in size and grandeur, with 32,510 acres and 520 kilometers of shoreline. Due to its large waters and main waterway, which is 34 miles long, it has acquired the moniker "The Inland Sea."

Recreation Options

Fans of maritime activities may choose from a range of neighborhoods at Lake Norman, which has yacht clubs, boat clubs, and a sailing club. Additionally, it serves as a tour stop for the International Jet Sport Boats Association.

All varieties of watercraft are accepted because the lake has no horsepower or speed restrictions! Numerous coastline marinas offer petrol stations for refueling, boat launches, boat docks, boat storage, boat rentals, and boat maintenance.

The waterways, which reach a depth of 130 feet, are stocked with catfish, crappie, bluegill, yellow perch, striped bass, largemouth bass, and white bass.
