The closest location for emergency care is Westfields Hospital, 25 miles southeast of New Richmond, Wisconsin. The Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport is 36 miles southwest.

Anglers can expect to catch large northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, rainbow trout, bullhead, and yellow perch.
