Ramsey Mill Pond is a small pond surrounded by a mix of wetlands, grasslands, woodlands. It is roughly 100 miles south of Minneapolis and 20 miles north of the Minnesota/Iowa border.

The closest location for urgent care is the Mayo Clinic - Austin Emergency Room, four miles south in Austin, Minnesota. The Rochester International Airport is 36 miles northeast outside of Rochester, Minnesota.

Ramsey Mill Pond sits at a modest 55 acres. The mix of different environments makes this home to a plethora of wildlife. There are waterfowl and songbirds, like sandhill cranes or snipes. Other small game animals, turkey, doves, and pheasant, call this place home.

Fishing is a popular pastime here, with the most populous species being northern pike, black crappie, rock bass, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass. You can also swim, canoe, kayak, and paddleboard. If you are more of a land person, have a lovely stroll around the perimeter of the lake or a picnic with the family.

The Mall of America offers excellent shopping and hosts over 40 million people annually. Nickelodeon Universe is an incredibly family-friendly amusement park in the mall and is split into two indoor amusement parks.

Another local favorite is the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. One of the crown jewels of the city's park system, the garden is a top destination for tourists to enjoy art like the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry.

Finally, for outdoor recreation and scenic nature, check out Minnehaha Park. This is the oldest park in Minneapolis and boasts 193 acres, numerous scenic trails, limestone bluffs, a 53-foot waterfall, picnic pavilions, bike rentals, and an off-leash dog park.
