Pike Lake is a stunning recreational lake located just 20 minutes from downtown Duluth. Many people chose Pike Lake as their full-time home, but its rentals also bring in seasonal guests.

Lake of 488 Acres

Featuring 488 acres of water, Pike Lake is a long, oval-shaped lake with nearly five miles of shoreline. With an average depth of 25 feet, it entertains boating, fishing, swimming, and more.

The waters are traveled by pontoons, speed boats, jet skis, bass boats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and more.

Its maximum depth of 60 feet helps it sustain walleye populations, northern pike, largemouth bass, bullhead, and perch.

Pike Lake Golf & Beach Club features an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, pool, lake beach, and playground on its eastern shore. Duluth also offers the Enger Park Golf Course and Northland Country Club.

Go to Jay Cooke State Park to explore Northern Minnesota’s rugged nature. Its trails feature the St. Louis River, rocky cliffs, unique plants, and excellent bird-watching opportunities.

Some of the city’s other attractions include the Spirit Mountain Recreation & Ski Area, Great Lakes Aquarium, Lake Superior Zoo, and the North Shore Scenic Railroad.
