Little Green Lake is a tranquil basin of water on Green Lake's north end in Chisago City. Home to over ten sizable lakes, the city is known as the "lake getaway."

There you will have access to typical city conveniences while nearby Forest Lake offers a greater list of restaurants, shops, and attractions.

Connected to Green Lake

At its south end, Little Green Lake connects to the larger waters of Green Lake. Together they cover 1,810 acres of water.

The waters are host to pontoons, jet skis, kayaks, canoes, and sailboats. Behind the boats, people enjoy water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Anglers make catches of walleye, largemouth bass, bluegill, northern pike, and black crappie.

Nearby Park, Winery, and Restaurants

On Green Lake, Ojiketa Regional Park features a swimming beach, fishing dock, and marina. Its 70-acre forest is filled with hiking and biking trails. You can stay overnight in one of its cabins or your tent.

Winehaven Winery is across from the lake where fine wines and sweet honey are produced. The facility hosts tours, tastings, and a variety of events.
