Bear Head Lake State Park is just a few minutes south of the lake. The park features 17 hiking trails, nine miles of cross-country ski trails, and a snowmobile trail. It also offers 23 miles of lakeshore along with a beach. Anglers can choose from a variety of fishing spots around the shore. You can stay in one of the park’s camper cabins or vacation homes; or, bring your RV, camper, or tent to stay on one of their campsites.
