Saline Lake is just off of Cheechee Bay, just outside the cities of Winnfield and Natchitoches. Alexandria is under 70 miles away, featuring plenty of big-city attractions and amenities.

The Louisiana Political Museum is where you can learn about Louisiana’s legendary political affairs, with over 170 individuals inducted into the Louisiana Political Hall of Fame.

The Grove Street Recreation Center includes a gymnasium, a tennis court, baseball fields, a playground, and pavilions.

There are also many places to dine in Winnfield, such as the Donut Palace, Raf’s BBQ, and Grantadams Dairy Maid.
