Little Chapman Lake

Location and Access

Located northeast of Warsaw, Indiana in Kosciusko County is Little Chapman Lake. This lake is adjacent to Big Chapman Lake and averages to be approximately 177 acres.

Fishing Opportunities

There are recreational activities on the lake such as boating and fishing. The public access is located through Big Chapman Lake. The most popular fish species here are bluegill, redear, crappie, bass, catfish, northern pike, and walleye.

Around Little Chapman Lake

Little Chapman Lake is a great community just outside of the busy city. Many activities surround the area of the Chapman Lakes and Warsaw as a whole.

There are museums and tours that visitors can take to understand more of the history of the area. There are also a variety of local restaurants in the area to try! An hour outside of the area there are entertainment venues, art galleries/ markets, and the botanic gardens.

Hospital

Located ten minutes away are the Kosciusko Community Hospital and emergency room. Located just seven minutes away is the Parkview Warsaw Hospital.

Airport

The Warsaw Municipal Airport is located five minutes from Little Chapman Lake. Around an hour north is the South Bend International Airport, and an hour south is the Fort Wayne International Airport.

There is a variety of schools that families can choose from in Warsaw. There are public K-12 schools and the option of private education schools.

City of Indianapolis

Located two hours and 30 minutes south of Little Chapman Lake is Indianapolis, which is one of the largest cities in the state. As the state’s capital, there are lots to do and see in this city.

Indianapolis is known for many different sports attractions and museums. It is home to the largest children’s museum in the country! This “sports-crazy city” is great for watching games downtown and enjoying the restaurant scene.
