This is 297 plus or minus acres on the North West side of Lake Kiowa. This farm has been in the same family since 1852. Some years ago the farm was used to grow vegetables, according to the owner, most of the vegetables sold in Gainesville at that time came from this farm. It has two springs on it, hay meadows, and grazing land for cattle. Most of the land is sandy loam.
