Years of working, buying/selling and exploring the lakes of East Tennessee have well seasoned my knowledge of Norris, Cherokee, and Douglas lakes, not to mention several others.

As a well traveled navy dependent, college trained cartographer and Realtor, an avid boater and equestrian, I have motored, paddled the waters, ridden horseback, and hiked miles of shoreline. The nuances and geography for each lake are unique and important to grasp when looking for your lake home location.

Finding the match for your lifestyle as a buyer and that match for your home or land, as a seller, is what I do best. Loving what I do, doing it with professional ease while keeping your criteria as priority, will make your real estate experience informed and successful.

Lakefront or simply beautiful Tennessee property? Tell me about it and I will find it or sell it for you.

The Right Realtor for You?

Are you just discovering East Tennessee lake communities or a local resident who knows right where you want to be? I will plug you into available inventory and supply you with details when you need them. I can give you organized directions to explore the area as it fits your time frame and interests. Small or large properties, restricted or unrestricted... it is out there!

A constant communication thread, listening and professional skills are key to a successful selling or buying transaction.

Creative and traditional marketing ramp up your success as a seller. Creative and traditional and well informed negotiating skills bring my buyers a fair to awesome purchase value.

Can I lay claim to being a top producer in a real estate company? Yes. But more importantly, I work diligently to find that property, or that buyer that fits, and makes that sale you are looking for!

About Cherokee Lake

Surrounded by scenic farmlands, Cherokee Lake is one of the oldest Tennessee Valley Authority reservoirs. Construction began August 1st, 1940, and ended on December 5th, 1941. The completed Cherokee Reservoir Dam is 175 feet high with a length totaling 6,760 feet.

The dam collects water from a 3,428 square mile watershed from its surrounding counties, Hawkins, Grainger, Hamblen, and Jefferson.

Cherokee Lake spans 30,300 acres of water surface at full pool, and is 59 miles long. All together, Cherokee Lake has 436 miles of gorgeous shoreline, perfect for picnics as well as vacation homes. It is centrally located with Morristown, Jefferson City, and Rogersville just a short car ride away.

Cherokee Lake is known for its Striped Bass fishing, but also possesses copious varieties of fish including, Black Bass, Walleye, Sunfish, Sauger, Crappie, Catfish, and White Bass. Of all the Tennessee Valley Authority lakes tested, Cherokee has the highest score for Large Mouth Bass.

Fish densities in Cherokee Lake are greater than most other Tennessee Valley Authority Reservoirs due to a dense forage base of Alewife, Threadfin Shad, and Gizzard Shad. Many fish attractors have been constructed to improve fishing for anglers including brush piles (used by game fish) and stake beds (used to concentrate Crappie).

The Tennessee Valley Authority has created long lasting habitats by planting River Birch, Bald Cypress, Swamp Oak, and Willow trees.

The Tennessee Valley Authority also provides many recreational facilities at Cherokee Dam including a swimming beach, picnic area, a year round boat launch ramp, and a campground that is open from April to September.
