Linda Ruppe

Lake Homes Realty

If you are searching for someone to help you buy or sell a lake property in New Hampshire, Maine or Massachusetts, Linda Ruppe is the person to call. One of Linda's first college summer jobs was learning and teaching as a waterskiing instructor at the Culver Military Academy Summer Camp on Lake Maxinkuckee in Indiana.

Prior to starting her real estate career in 2003, she was a flight attendant/manager for Pan Am and then became a pastry chef. After growing up in Europe, Linda moved to the United States and has been living on or around a lake since 1991 in New Hampshire, which makes her familiar with the peculiarities of lake living and what one needs to be aware of when deciding to buy a lake home.

She currently lives on Bow Lake, one of the lakes she specializes in. When she is not tirelessly working to help her clients, Linda can be found waterskiing, boating, stand-up paddling, kayaking, exercising on/around the lake, and spending time with her husband and Siamese cat.

Living on a lake in the Lakes Region gives Linda the understanding and knowledge that will help buyers looking for that perfect lake home or sellers who want a professional who understands how to market their property to maximize exposure and profits for their special home. Her goal is to see a smile on both the seller and the buyer and that both parties have a happy ending. When looking to buy or sell a lake home property in the New Hampshire, Maine or Massachusetts markets, give Linda Ruppe, your local lake expert, a call!

About Lower Suncook Lake

Barnstead, Rochester, or Manchester

Lower Suncook Lake is part of Barnstead, a rural town of New Hampshire that is home to a selection of beautiful lakes. Barnstead has country stores, gas stations, and eateries to meet everyday needs.

Rochester, just 30 minutes away, provides the Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Walmart Supercenter, Walgreens, coffee shops, salons, restaurants, and more. The Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is only about a 35 miles drive away in Manchester.

Lower Suncook Lake of 216 Acres

Lower Suncook Lake and Upper Suncook Lake cover 700 acres as a pair, connected by a 1,000-foot channel, and Lower Suncook Lake includes 295 acres and houses three islands. It has an average depth of 9 feet but can be as deep as 17 feet.

Large Space for Lake Activities

There is room for all boaters on the Suncook Lakes; motorboats, kayaks, canoes, and other watercraft share the broad span of water.

Boaters can put in at the boat ramp by the bridge at Narrows Road to go to either body of water. Swimming, water skiing, and tubing are a few of the lake activities that the lakers enjoy.

Fishing, Tournaments, and More

Lower Suncook Lake holds a vast stock of largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pickerel, horned pout, and perch. Anglers come out to the lake year-round but more so in the summer for the seasonal Suncook Lakes bass tournaments.

The lakes are under an hour from the well-known White Mountains for snow skiing, rock climbing, or hiking. You will also find Concord under an hour away, a source of shops and restaurants with New Hampshire charm.
