Doris Phillips brings a unique blend of experience, determination, and knowledge to her leadership position as Chief Operating Officer at Lake Homes Realty and Beach Homes Realty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A real estate broker in multiple states, Doris co-leads <strong>Lake Homes Realty<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beach-homes.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Beach Homes Realty<\/strong><\/a> with her husband, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lakehomes.com\/info\/glenn-s-phillips\">Glenn S. Phillips.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doris oversees the day-to-day operations of the nation\u2019s largest lake-focused brokerage and beach-focused real estate brokerage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake Homes Realty serves 39 states (and growing) and Beach Homes Realty serves 16 states, all with a blend of traditional real estate and specialized technology for lake and beach properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her 20s, Doris was hired as an entry-level file clerk by Martha Ferguson for her Birmingham real estate title insurance company. Ms. Ferguson was a tough, old-school boss who saw potential in Doris and continued to push for her growth. Doris progressed from file clerk to customer service, and later to sales representative, then Director of Marketing. Upon her retirement, Ms. Ferguson noted that Doris grew into a \u201cvery smart businesswoman.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doris Phillips founded <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourrealsource.com\">RealSource Title Insurance and Real Estate Closings LLC<\/a><\/strong> in 2004 and serves as president. RealSource has five offices in three states and serves an additional 10 states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-circle-of-love-foundation\">The Circle of Love Foundation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Of all her titles, Phillips may be most proud as founder and head of <a href=\"https:\/\/thecircleoflove.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The Circle of Love Foundation<\/strong><\/a>, a 5019(c) (3) nonprofit helping children in need throughout Alabama, Tennessee, and Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Circle of Love Foundation has been garnering awareness, providing support, and giving hope to children in need since 2004. The Circle of Love has touched the lives of more than 10,000 children. From providing backpacks filled with school supplies to hand-selected Christmas toys and other gifts, Doris and her nonprofit team of volunteers help hundreds of children each year. Under Doris\u2019 watchful eye and leadership, every cent raised goes directly to helping children in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recognition\">Recognition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Phillip\u2019s leadership led to her being named one of the Birmingham Business Journal\u2019s 2014 \u201cBusiness Women to Watch\u201d and Positive Maturity\u2019s 2015 \u201cTop 50 Over 50,\u201d as well as other honors. Her leadership and real estate insights have been featured in&nbsp;<em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Realtor<\/em>&nbsp;magazine,&nbsp;<em>Good Housekeeping<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>MSNBC.com<\/em>, and other notable outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More importantly to her, she serves and empowers others. She is excited when a single mother on her staff can now buy her first home. Her agents, even multimillion-dollar real estate agents, call for her guidance and expertise. She develops leaders, both female and male.
