Lake Homes Realty’s Glenn S. Phillips Named CEO of the Year

Lake Homes Realty, CEO, Glenn S. Phillips was honored with the CEO of year award for companies with 26-50 employees by business newspaper, the Birmingham Business Journal. The company has 50 employees in the Hoover, AL corporate office, but has real estate agents in over 3,000 lake markets nationwide.

Phillips was honored by the Birmingham Business Journal with the CEO award after he was nominated along with five other local business leaders in the same category. Consideration was based on strong financial performance, tangible results and goals achieved, along with the success of the business and community involvement.

The awards took place at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook. He was one of 35 executives nominated and one of only 7 winners of the award in each company size category. The award winners were recognized as executives who inspire those around them and hold their employees, products and services to the highest standards.

Phillips said, “I was really surprised by this honor! It’s an award for my whole team at Lake Homes Realty, I couldn’t do this without each and every one of them. As long as we are recognized for our hard work and growth as a company, I am very happy.”

Lake Homes Realty Earns FastTrack 30 for Third Straight Year

For the third consecutive year, The Birmingham Business Journal has named Lake Homes Realty among the 30 fastest growing businesses in Birmingham.

Lake Homes Realty was ranked number 28 on the list, released on Sept. 1, 2017.

The company was the highest ranked real estate company on the list, also for a third straight year.

“I’m excited about this for our team. We’ve made this list every year the company has been eligible. Since the rankings are based on annual growth rate, each year requires significantly more growth to make the list again,” said CEO Glenn S. Phillips.

“I believe our continued strong growth shows the value of our original vision to provide our agents and clients a true unique advantage in real estate,” added Phillips.

To be eligible for the 2017 FastTrack 30, companies must be headquartered in metro Birmingham and have had at least $100,000 in revenue in 2015. Rankings are based on the percentage of revenue growth between 2015 and 2016.

The list represents a wide range of industries, from health care and technology to retailers and home builders.

Lake Homes Realty Named One of the Fastest Growing Companies

For the second year in a row, The Birmingham Business Journal named Lake Homes Realty as one of the fastest growing companies in Birmingham, Alabama.

Lake Homes Realty is a licensed real estate brokerage in multiple states. Current operations are in states across the Southeastern and Southwestern United States. Work is underway for new brokerage operations in other regions of the country.

The company’s popular website www.LakeHomes.com helps lake real estate buyers from all over the country locate lake homes and land to purchase. The website is also popular with sellers, as it helps their property for sale to be found more easily.

Currently LakeHomes.com has real estate listings for more than 44,000 lake homes, lake lots and land.

The 2016 rankings for fastest growing companies are based on company revenue growth from 2014 to 2015.

Lake Homes Realty was recognized as the eight fastest growing company in Birmingham, matching it’s number eight ranking in the 2015 rankings.

Glenn S. Phillips, Lake Homes Realty’s CEO, shared, “Our team of agents and staff work very hard to create the best possible customer experience. To see our business grow rapidly is a compliment to their hard work and service mentality. And we believe the biggest growth is still ahead of us.”

All of the companies in the rankings were honored at an awards breakfast on Thursday August 25, 2016 at the Harbert Center in downtown Birmingham.
