Spring Lake is conveniently located in the city of Aurora, less than 40 miles west of Chicago.

A Great Stretch of Calm Waters

Spring Lake is part of the Fox Valley Park District, with the southern half of the lake being occupied by Spring Lake Park and the other by homes.

Spring Lake Park has a boat launch for small watercraft like kayaks and canoes. Boaters enjoy exploring the shoreline and fishing. If you wish to stay on the shore, you can fish from one of the park's two piers.

Other features of the park include a paved walking trail, playground, open grassy areas, pavilions, and picnic tables.
