Born and raised in the Lake Country area, I have been a licensed real estate agent since 1997 and worked as a paralegal specializing in real estate for over 25 years. In 2010 I earned my broker license. I have a firm understanding of the real estate closing process from start to finish.

Both of my parents and my step-father were real estate brokers. I worked with my father's real estate company for 17 years and was thoroughly "schooled" by the best. I am passionate about Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair. I live on Lake Sinclair and have raised two wonderful children there. My teenage daughter enjoys soccer and competition cheerleading and my son is a firefighter/EMT. I am also "Neena" to my beautiful grandchildren.

Marketing your property or assisting you in finding the absolute perfect place will be my mission! If you or someone you know is looking to buy, sell, or invest in the Lake Country area, I would be honored to be your chosen real estate professional.

About Lake Oconee

Conveniently Located Near Atlanta, Augusta, and Athens

One of Georgia's youngest human-made reservoirs, Lake Oconee, was created in 1979 when the Wallace Dam was completed on the Oconee River.

Lake Oconee covers about 19,000 acres with 374 miles of shoreline in Greene, Morgan, and Putnam counties. It is conveniently located approximately 60 miles northeast of Atlanta, about the same distance from Augusta, and about 30 miles from Athens, home of the University of Georgia.

Lake Oconee, along with its nearby sister lake, Lake Sinclair, is the core of what is often referred to as Georgia's Lake Country.

With Many Recreational Opportunities

Lake Oconee has excellent opportunities for the whole family. Fishing, swimming, water sports, boating, camping, picnicking, waterskiing, wakeboarding, canoeing, and kayaking are all popular activities to experience.

There are plenty of campsites available, but Georgia's Lake Country is known for its luxury resorts, including the Ritz Carlton Lake Oconee, the Harbor Club Golf resort, or any of the 130 holes in the city of Greensboro.

The most popular fish species caught on Lake Oconee include largemouth bass, white bass, striped bass, hybrid striped bass, crappie, and catfish.

The Oconee National Forest adjoins the lake to the south, which offers miles of hiking and equestrian trails within the forest and one trail for dirt bikes and four-wheelers.

Things To Do

Greene County and the surrounding area is full of historical sites, with many walking and driving tours. At more than 200 years old, the Old Gaol is believed to be the oldest masonry.

The small towns have several local shops and boutiques offering a beautiful collection of antiques, fashion, decorative accessories, and jewelry.

Historic downtown Greensboro has a small-town charm and a unique selection of shopping, dining, and events.

The Best Place to Experience Lake Life

Whether you are looking to buy a family home, a full-time retirement residence, or find a vacation rental, Lake Oconee is an excellent choice.
