Beaver Lake lies in northwest Arkansas just south of the Missouri state line. The cities of Bentonville, Rogers, and Springdale are all within 35 miles of the lake.

Maintained by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, the lake is used for flood control and water reserves along the White River.

 

Beaver Lake Dam the first of three dams along this historic river and acts as the primary station for the cold water used in the downstream fishing hatchery.
