Tracy Boyd was born in Anniston, Alabama at Fort McClellan, and grew up in a military family. She lived in many different areas, but her family always had a home on the lake in Alabama. Growing up on the lake and being able to share her genuine love for the lake life helps her show her clients how much they will enjoy living there too.

 

Tracy has many memories of enjoying time on the lake with her family, hosting family and work-related gatherings. She cannot imagine living too far away from a lake.

 

Tracy is married and has three children with her husband. They live in a lake access community on Logan Martin. They have three children and three grandchildren who love the lake as well. They enjoy RV'ing and boating together whenever they get the chance.

 

Before obtaining her real estate license, Tracy worked as the residential association manager at Stillwaters Resort on Lake Martin. Tracy loves to tour homes, so her job is a joy. She loves helping her clients make their dreams of homeownership come true.

Also known as the “Lake of a Thousand Coves” with many sloughs, creeks, and small inlets, the lake covers more than 15,000 acres and has about 270 miles of shoreline in St. Clair and Talladega counties.

 

Logan Martin is the third reservoir in a chain of six on the Coosa River, which begins with Weiss Lake on the Georgia border and extends almost to Montgomery.

 

Birmingham is under 60 miles away, making it a great daycation spot. The Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is under 45 miles away, and the Ascension St. Vincent’s St. Clair and the Citizens Baptist Medical Center are under 30 miles away.

Logan Martin Lake is also a recreational lake for you and the family to enjoy boating, fishing, skiing, and swimming. The lake is most popular with water traffic during the summer season.

 

The fishing opportunities here are endless! The most popular caught species are largemouth bass and spotted bass, but striped bass, white bass, hybrid bass, crappie, catfish, bream, drum, carp, and gar are also present.

 

This is also a popular spot to host fishing tournaments annually, which has put Logan Martin Lake at the top for percent success in bass fishing.

Birmingham offers a variety of attractions, including the Birmingham Zoo, Birmingham Museum of Art, McWane Science Center, Top Golf, Birmingham Botanical Garden, and Red Mountain Park.

 

If spending the afternoon shopping appeals to you, shopping centers like the Summit, the Galleria, and the Brookwood Mall are all within a reasonable distance.
