A native of Pell City, Alabama I grew up on Logan Martin Lake and the Coosa River. Boating, kayaking, fishing and canoeing are some of my favorite activities even today. I currently live in Shelby County situated between many private lakes and in close proximity to Lay Lake.

I graduated from Auburn University and have a background in project management. I spent the last several years working on major home renovations and flipping houses. This has given me a unique skill set that benefits both me and my clients in real estate.

Skills like integrity, market knowledge, technology, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills, and in-depth community knowledge are hallmarks of how I conduct my real estate business. I'm detail-oriented, highly organized and efficient which is a must in managing real estate transactions.

I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to the buyer's or the seller's needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business.

I believe that I'm not just selling houses, I'm selling a lifestyle. If you are ready to live the lake life, give me a call today!

About Lay Lake

Less than an hour from Birmingham

One of Alabama's most beloved recreation spots, 12,000 acre Lake Lake is located just 52 miles outside Birmingham and about 64 miles from Montgomery.

A Man-Made Powerhouse

Built by Alabama Power in 1912, Lay Lake extends along 289 miles of shoreline in Chilton County and reaches a maximum depth of 88 feet.

On average, Lay Lake's nearly 86 billion gallon water volume has a depth of 22 feet.

Lay Dam, which is responsible for creating Lay Lake, was built to produce hydroelectric power.

Its powerhouse contains 6 generators which each produce nearly 30,000 kilowatts of electricity for the areas surrounding this reservoir.

Clear Waters, Plenty of Fish, and Water Sports Welcome

Known for its deep, cool water, boaters flock to this lake to participate in the most popular of water sports including skiing, swimming, and fishing.

Lay Lake is home to numerous varieties of fish, including crappie, bass and catfish.

The reservoir hosts some of the nation's top fishing tournaments each year, including the Bassmaster Classic in 2010.

State Parks and Recreation Sites Within Short Driving Distance

Two of the state's most visited national forests are right around the corner.

38 miles from Lay Lake, Oak Mountain State Park is the the largest sate park in Alabama.

Park patrons can partake in a plethora of activites including mountain biking, horesback riding, golfing, camping and hiking.

400,000 acre Talledega National Forest is located 45 miles northeast of the lake.

Here visitors can experience nature by hiking through the forest which is home to more than 800 species of wild animals.

Rock climbing and grappling are also popular in this area.

Of course, if lake lovers need a break from outdoors, they can also venture up the road to Talledega Speedway to watch some of the best NASCAR racing around.

Your Home on Lay Lake Awaits

With so much to do, Lay Lake has become an ever-growing community of waterfront residents with miles of shoreline yet to be developed.

Whether a more permanent lakefront house is what you seek, or a simple lakefront cottage to get away to, you are sure to find something that fits your taste at Lay Lake.
