Thank you for sharing these fun accessories for a pontoon! I have a pontoon boat that I use mainly for fishing and cruising the lake. I think it would be really fun to add a diving board and a barbecue so that I can entertain my nieces and nephews. How easy is it to install a diving board on a boat?

Hi Eliza!

I was reviewing some of our previous articles and came across your comment and question. I too think the diving board and grill would be excellent for entertaining the nieces and nephews! One word of caution regarding the diving board – ensure the water depth is safe for use!

Here’s a link for the installation of a diving board on our pontoon. All brands have similar installation instructions so this will give you a good idea of the expertise needed. Depending on your comfort level, you always have the option of visiting your local boating supply shop for installation advice.

Thanks for your comment and happy boating!

John
