I have been involved in real estate since 2000, when I started my career behind the scenes with a home builder. After spending 7 years with them, and working my way from receptionist to an assistant project manager, the housing market began to take a turn in the wrong direction. And, like a lot of other real estate professionals, I then spent a few years unsure of where the future would lead - but always hoping to grow into more of a real estate sales position if I found the right opportunity.

During this interim period I worked with a property management firm as an assistant property manager, which is when I obtained my real estate license. I spent almost 2 years working in the residential rental market, negotiating leases with home owners and tenants, as well as approving applicants that were interested in renting a home.

Between the property management end of real estate, and my past experience working closely with a home builder, I was fortunate to be able to gain a wide perspective in many areas of real estate that other agents never see. And I feel strongly that the knowledge I've gained in those past positions gives me a much broader ability to help buyers and sellers overall - especially during a market like we have seen recently, where clients need good advice to help them make the right decisions.

I am now taking the opportunity to further my real estate career with Lakehomes.com Realty by helping people buy their dream homes, and assist potential sellers in deciding on the best strategies and methods to sell a home that no longer fits their needs. My goal is to provide excellent service and advice when it comes to buying or selling lakefront property...but I also love to work with non-water properties in more rural areas, such as hobby farms or cabins in the woods.
